Abstract:Narrative genre of ethnography represents the researcher's subjective、emotional experience in fieldwork, which could lead to the development of an authority on the object. To understand women experience, researchers need to decode their gender identity in narrative process. Gender is important to help us interpret, read, and decode women's identity and status in society and history. Understanding women's experience needs a new approach based on the first person narrative with a gender perspective.
