Abstract:As Mao Ze-dong proposed, the first school specialized in training women cadres under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, the Women's University of China, was established to meet the demands of the Anti-Japanese War and women's movement. This university was unique in its goals and model of running education. It trained a large number of women cadres, pushed forward women's movement, and increased societal attention to the cause of women. The glorious tradition and the commendable experience of this university have provided an important example for training today's women cadres.
