透视世界城市女性参政问题——纽约、伦敦、东京、巴黎的个案研究及其对北京的启示*

Abstract In the globalization process, the role of cities has increasingly drawn attention from scholars of various fields. Political participation has become one of the important indicators to assess gender equality and the healthy growth of the world's cities. In this paper, we will compare women's political participation in four cities, New York, London, Tokyo and Paris, and analyze three ways of promoting women's political participation through legislation, ranks of political parties and civil society's advocacy in order to advise how Beijing would benefit from these experiences.
