Abstract:Generally speaking, women are more religious than men in the United States of America, resulting in them becoming more involved in religious life and church activities. With the growth of their church memberships, American women find themselves enjoying more and bigger say not only in church affairs but also in political decision-making process. This paper aims to examine and explain the relationships between women, religion and politics in the United States to shed light on the influence of women on religion and American politics.
