Abstract:While scholars who are concerned with the issues of gender and education have focused their attention primarily on organizational systems. This paper adopts a gender perspective to investigate a research-oriented university and finds that although organizational structures of the university look equal and gender neutral on surface but beneath the surface, it is a hidden gendered logic that replicates as well as reinforces the existing gendered relationships. Male dominated organizational culture and gender hierarchy are apparent throughout the technical based university.
