Abstract：In the past 20 years, more and more researchers have adopted "feminist history," an expression from the west, in their studies, while they add their own interpretations.. However, there are differences in their understanding of the contents, methodologies and epistemology, and even the time of onset of feminist history. In order to clarify what "feminist history" is, this paper compares women's history with feminist history in order to identify the issues, perspectives, and methodologies of feminist history. The conclusion is that feminist history provides a new perspective, a new method and a new position and that it is more than just the rejection of the traditional historiography.
