A Review of Foreign Studies on Gender-based Differences in Work-Family Conflict

Abstract:This article summarizes recent studies abroad on gender-based differences in the antecedents and consequences of the work-family conflict. It suggests that social factors, and the distribution of family responsibilities are the main causes of gender differences in work-family conflict. Based on this summary, the paper suggests possible ways for domestic research on this issue to start and grow.
