Abstract This paper examines reviews the history of feminism to identify the importance of globalization in contemporary theory and political conceptualization. It has two parts: the first questions the current framework with which to analyze globalization and internationalism, and the second part attempts to reconstruct such a framework based on a perspective of "rising Asia."
