对法国社会党推动妇女参政实践的思考*

Abstract Since 2000, the French Socialist Party plays an important role in the improvement of women's political participation in France. It has made remarkable achievements, including the increase of the proportion of female candidates in the party at all levels, the increase of the number of women deputies, and the implementation of laws and regulations in matters of gender equality. This is one of the favorable factors for the success of the French Socialist Party in the presidential and legislative elections in 2012. But its efforts are still subject to a number of subjective factors and objective conditions. The experiences of French Socialist Party typically exhibit the role of political parties in Western Democracies in the promotion of gender equality in political participation.
