| Lack of Gender Awareness in Psychological Health Educational Materials among Universities |

Abstract This paper examines fifteen educational materials used for psychological health education in universities and argues that these materials reinforce gender based stereotypes and double moral standards between men and women, reflecting the overall lack of gender awareness in mainstream psychological practice in China. Therefore, mainstream psychology should increase its understanding and research in feminist psychology. University education in psychological health should be based on gender analysis and educators should receive gender training in order to raise gender awareness.
