工作状态对城镇已婚女性精神健康的影响——基于CSS2013的实证分析

Abstract During the transition of Chinese society from a planned to a market-based economy, this social change brought forth changes in the perception of family-based division of labour and the role of women in the family. The revival of traditional views of division of labour that required women "returning to home" prepared the appearance of "full-time women homemakers." In order to understand the differences in mental health conditions of this group of women and those of urban married women with full-time employment, this paper draws on data from the Chinese Social Survey, 2013 (CSS 2013) and finds that the mental health conditions of the latter are significantly better than those of the former and this difference lies partially in the existence of social support more available for the latter than the former. The paper also points out the limitations of this study and provides suggestions for future research.
