Abstract:Expanding gender and legal studies constitutes an important part of gender mainstreaming efforts in legal field. The content of these studies include using gender perspective to examine law and human rights theory and international human rights law as standards to examine women's human rights conditions and the lives and development of vulnerable groups of women. The goals of these studies are to improve the legislation of protecting women's rights and gender equality. Along with the implementation of the principle policy of equality between men and women comes the greater influence of the studies of gender and law in gender mainstreaming efforts.
